Foreign snacks

One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to walk the aisles of the grocery stores and try a bunch of different snacks.

With Try The World you can gift your travel loving friend that experience. This cool business sends boxes of snacks and groceries from different countries directly to your home. It’s like getting care packages from all over the world.

They offer these boxes of foreign snacks as a subscription, or you can buy a one-off in the gift options.

Face mask powder

Women who love to travel know that travel experiences are amazing, but the effects on your skin are not. Skincare products are always a great gift option because they are usually much needed.

A face mask comes that comes in powder form is convenient for home and travel since it won’t count in the liquid allowance. Powders usually last longer than creams or liquids as well.

I love Bentonite Clay masks and use this one with Apple Cider Vinegar regularly. It mixes best with ACV and really brightens up your face!

Hydrating face oil

Using facial oil underneath a moisturizer can add an extra layer of hydration to help with long flights and harsh weather that comes with travel.

It took me too long to add this to my skincare routine, but I am glad that I did!

I usually use Vitamin C which I get in this 3 pack with Retinol and Hyaluronic Acid. Most mornings and nights I use Vitamin C and use the others a couple of times a week.

Kindle

Whether you’re passing time on a layover, chilling out by the pool, or on the train heading to the next destination, there’s always a lot of downtime while traveling and it’s a good opportunity to catch up on your reading.

Reading an actual book is nice, but they take up more space in luggage and create more waste. A Kindle is a traveler’s best friend because you can have a lot of books on one lightweight device.

I use a Kindle Paperwhite and love it!

On the go haircare

The Ouai Air Dry Foam and Wave Spray give you fresh, bouncy hair even if you are traveling and don’t have access to your styling tools.

I bought mine in a convenient travel size pack which also came with body oil. An added bonus, the travel size bag can be used as your toiletries bag when traveling since it is see-through.

Bougie Bath gift set

This American made kit comes with candles, bath bombs, a facial sponge, and even a relaxation bathtime playlist. It’s a complete sensory experience that will surely melt away the post-travel blues.

Gift the feeling of a luxury hotel in the comfort of home by getting a fancy bathrobe like this one.

Gratitude journal

Because bags are for the luggage carousel, not your eyes.

DIY gel nail kit

I mention this all the time, but I don’t know what I’d do without it!

Having an at-home gel nail kit has allowed me to have the treat of nice manicures without the steep price tag. The more money I can save for travel, the better if you ask me.

It’s much easier to do than you would think and the nails usually last me around 2 weeks.
