One of the things on my bucket list while living in Vicenza was to have an epic treat yo’self staycation. It presented a problem though because I kind of had this staycation on a pedestal. I knew it was going to be on the pricey side so I wanted to make sure I got value for my money and I wanted it to be an epic experience. The pressure to find the perfect one was sky-high. After a lot of research, here’s what I had it narrowed down to. I didn’t stay at all of these but wanted to share my top 5 list in case the one I stayed at isn’t available when you visit or you’d prefer one of the others. Here are 5 awesome spa hotels near Vicenza to help you narrow down the choices.

When to book a spa staycation
Most of these places have heated pools, so don’t just think they’re for summer getaways.
I think the best time to book a getaway like this is in spring or fall when it’s cool enough for a cozy getaway but you won’t have the crowds of summer and winter tourism.
Miramonti Boutique Hotel
This is the one I ended up choosing for my epic spa staycation.
And it didn’t disappoint!
Let me start with the pools. These aren’t just any pools, there’s two epically cool infinity pools that were each amazing for different reasons.
One has a large lounging area with attached bar and spa, and the views from the pool are just amazing. The other is a Japanese Onsen style where you can soak in the pool as the steam rises around you and absorb all the relaxing vibes.
The food was amazing! I chose to eat at the smaller restaurant which was in a cozy room and had traditional South Tyrolean cuisine.
Lastly, the room was super comfortable, minimal, had amazing views, and allowed for complete relaxtion.

Hotel Hubertus
Now onto the other places that were on my list.
Hotel Hubertus looks like it would be an incredible place to stay for your staycation.
They have a few swimming areas that all look fantastic, but it was the sky pool that was a big drawcard for me. It looks like such a unique infinity pool experience with the see-through front and section that has the see-through bottom.
There’s also a range of saunas and a spa for treatments.
From looking at the photos, the rooms, which are decorated in a country house style, didn’t look quite as luxurious as some others on the list but that’s simply a personal style preference.
The balconies and views look incredible and they seem to have the same amenities as others.

Adler Lodge Ritten
The wellness area at this one caught my eye because of the spa treatments as well as the pools, three different saunas, and relaxation areas.
I was also into the timer suites and chalets – I love a cabin type feel and think I would’ve loved these!
Overall, it just looked like a perfect relaxing stay in nature and would’ve made for a great staycation.

Terme di Relilax
This one is a great choice if you don’t want to drive as far as going up into the mountains.
I have visited Terme di Relilax to use their pools and wellness areas a few times as a day trip and it’s always a luxurious experience.
You have a choice of indoor and outdoor pools and there are many lounge chairs around both pools. My favorite area is the wellness area that has other smaller pools, saunas, and even an emotional shower. These made the spa days unique as well as relaxing.
There’s a full spa for treatments as well.

San Luis Hotel and Lodges
This looks like an absolute dream.
It was actually the first one I contacted, but unfortuately they had no availability for my dates.
Where to even start?
I was first hooked on the luxury treehouse idea because it looks like the perfect combination or luxury, nature, and relaxation.
The indoor and outdoor pools look nothing short of amazing. The indoor pool even has a fireplace by it and the wood furnishings make it look like a cozy heaven.
Then you add in private breakfasts, spa treatments, and luxury chalets and it’s a complete package.
