Picture this. You’re on vacation. The sun is shining, the beach is your new backyard, and you’ve developed a ‘it’s 5 o’clock somewhere’ rule for margarita consumption. What’s missing? That’s right – a bowl of blended tropical fruit, topped with more tropical fruit! Nothing says vacay like tropical fruit! Here’s my guide on where to find the absolute best acai bowls in Destin Florida.
Where To Find The Absolute Best Acai Bowls In Destin, Florida
Wave Destin
I LOVE Wave Destin!
They have the perfect balance of flavors, textures, and super fresh ingredients. Between the generous portion size, freshness, and overall quality of the bowls, I always feel like I get good value for the money I spend.
The Signature Wave is my favorite if you’re looking for one to try, but they have an extensive range of options.
They don’t only sell acai bowls though. You can also get boba tea, cakes, ice cream, and coffee.
Combine it with a beach day at Henderson Beach State Park, which is conveniently located across the road.

East Pass Coffee Co.
If you love local hipster coffee shop vibes then you’ll love East Pass Coffee Co.
It’s a popular spot that serves up coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, acai bowls, and toast in a cool, casual setting. And let’s face it, you’re not going to be able to afford the house anyway – just get the avocado toast.
The Jetty Bowl of fruit and granola with peanut butter and hazelnut spread toppings is a delicious combo. It’s all fresh tasting and good quality though, so I don’t think you can go wrong.
There’s currently only three bowl options on the menu, but you can add toppings to customize it to your preference which opens up a lot of variety.
I really like the coffee here as well, and particularly how they have unique specialities to try.

Roast’d Yoga Bar
For an acai bowl with a side of downward dog, check out Roast’d Yoga Bar.
At this wonderful local business you’ll find super friendly staff who always make you feel welcome in the relaxing, cozy, plant filled setting. And delicious acai bowls of course.
If you dine in, the acai bowl is served in a coconut bowl which sets it apart from the standard plastic tub. It’s just plain cool if you ask me and takes the experience up a notch.
Instead of a set menu you get to choose your base, toppings, and extras which I like because you can make it a little different each time you visit.
Bonus tip – make sure you pair it with a lavender earl grey latte because they are simply fantastic.

Sweetea Boba Bar
Sweetea Boba Bar is a must try while you are visiting Destin.
I love that their açaí bowls are served up super frozen, so it doesn’t end up being a smoothie as fast while you’re eating it. The ingredients are fresh, super tasty, and you can make them unique by adding things like flavored popping pearls.
I also love the casual setting and the staff are absolutely wonderful.
One thing that needs to be mentioned is the amazing boba teas you can get with your açaí bowl. You can even top your boba tea with tiramisu foam which is heaven!

Kwench Juice Cafe
When you need to… dare I say… *kwench* your acai bowl cravings, another great place to visit is Kwench Juice Cafe.
This is more like a classic juice and smoothie bar as opposed to a cafe.
At this great local spot you can pick up a fresh acai bowl, as well as fresh juices, smoothies, and shots like wheatgrass.
They have a few different pre-set options on the menu – the cacao bowl is really yum, or you can also create your own combo of toppings.
If you like to hit the gym while you’re on vacation, it’s a great option to combine your acai bowl with a gym session since it’s located next to the Workout Anytime gym.

Formula Fresh
With prime position in Destin Commons, it’s hard to beat the location of Formula Fresh.
If you’d like to combine some shopping with your acai bowl, this is the one for you.
To me, the acai bowl base had more of a smoothie-like taste compared to a classic acai taste. But, I love the extra added details like local honey and coconut whipped cream made in house.
While you chill out in the bright, open setting you can also try some fresh juices, toast, protein snacks, and even pick up some guac!
One cool feature they offer is the ability to order online and pick up which is very convenient if you’re in a rush to get to the nearby beaches.
Overall another really cool local place to get an acai bowl.
